Recognizing Our Creative Gifts
In recent years, Agape’s expanding ministry of the arts, poetry and music has truly testified to an inspiring sign of the great hope of the Spirit working through Agape’s recognizing the sacredness of the creative gifts of the core and extended community, adding a unique and powerful dimension to its prophetic witness and alternative vision.
This creative work keeps the vitality, life and evolution of imaginative vision burning bright as the living the true prophetic gospel in our soulless, materialistic world—now and for the earth’s future survival.
Throughout its years, so many different people, known and unknown, from college students, to social activists and seekers in all faith traditions, to local neighbors, have been drawn to support Agape’s inclusive, creative ministry through its various liturgies formal and informal gatherings, including children’s skits, music poetry and dance on St. Francis Day.
This great, necessary work of the Divine Imagination, offers a mysterious, mystical way of gracefully sustaining and preserving the heart and soul of Agape’s past, present and eternal future.
