The website will give you and your volunteers the information they need to sign up and participate. If you aren?t able to walk, maybe you can help out at one of the stations or participate in the evening events. I think a lot of people will just walk one or two days, so it would be great if a team would relay and have some drivers to pick people up at the end of a day?s walk and bring the next team for the following day.

Volunteers will be asked to arrive at different times to help distribute information, water, food, and set up and clean up event sites.

You can register as an individual or a team at www.climatewalk.org.

The route will be:

Friday, March 16?walk from Northampton to Amherst (8 miles)

Saturday, March 17?walk from Amherst to Belchertown (10 miles)

Sunday, March 18?walk from Belchertown to Ware (10 miles)

Monday, March 19?walk from Ware to Spencer (16 miles)

Tuesday, March 20?walk from Spencer to Worcester (11 miles)

Wednesday, March 21?walk from Worcester to Grafton (8 miles)

Walkers continuing from Grafton will take commuter rail or bus to Wellesley

Thursday, March 22?walk from Wellesley to Newton (6 miles)

Friday, March 23?walk from Newton to Cambridge (8 miles)

Saturday, March 24?walk from Cambridge to Boston (3 miles)

Walk activities will end in Boston with an interfaith service and rally.

Please let me know if you?ll be participating, so I can have an idea of our numbers.
